...THE OLD WAY

The operator arrives on site and captures CCTV video of the drains you want us to survey.

The video is driven back to the office where the report is coded, validated and printed.

The printed report is sent in the post to the customer, along with any recommendations we have made.

The customer receives the printed report, usually within 15 days, and can then review the report and recommendations.
Before the iTouch System, the CCTV inspection report would often take up to 15 days to reach the customer, often slowed down by traffic and postal services.

The operator arrives on site, producing the full inspection report as he captures the CCTV video.

As he works, the report is streamed directly from site to the office, for instant quality check and validation.

Once validated, the completed report is delivered to the customer instantly, irrespective or size or distance.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

You pick up the phone to one of our friendly account managers, who will discuss your requirements to ensure the correct level of response is scheduled.
DIRECT TO THE DIARY
Once the scope of the work has been agreed, the job is assigned to the next available engineer. Using iTouch Live, the job details, along with any drawings or documents he needs, are sent directly to his camera system. This gives him all the information he needs to complete the survey, without having to return to the office.
METRO ROD ON SITE
With Metro Cam’s super-fast CCTV surveys, the engineer can complete the full survey on site, meaning minimum involvement from the local office, which improves the quality of the surveys sent to you.
iTouch technology allows us to recognise and accurately code structural and service conditions, along with construction features and other miscellaneous details, to the highest possible standard. Our findings are then wrapped up in a neat and comprehensive CCTV inspection report.

LIVE AT THE OFFICE
Using iTouch Live, the data collected from site is streamed in near real time, back to the local office for processing.
With geography no longer a factor, our team of technical support managers are also able to provide instant technical assistance to each of our local offices, ensuring that even the most complex of cases is analysed efficiently.
ELECTRONIC DELIVERY
Every customer is provided with a unique and secure login to our customer portal. This allows us to deliver your report and recommendations instantly, irrespective of size or distance.
The customer portal allows you to view, download and print your report, as well as play and download the associated footage. You are able to return to the portal to view your report time and time again, so we’re sure that this will be the most convenient way for it to be sent to you. We can still place a printed copy and a DVD in the post to you should you prefer however.

In most cases, your inspection report has already progressed to the next step before our engineer has finished packing up his tools.
